PWnet | Phil Wylie – about me
Hey, my names Phil, I'm 19, I'm a full time student and freelance website developer based in Shrewsbury. PWnet has been my personal project since 2004 when I first launched pwnet.org.uk, these were the early days when I experimented with FrontPage and GeoCities, a time when scrolling marquees were cool… actually they've never really been cool, but I digress… over the years I've taught myself how to develop with web standards such as CSS and XHTML, I've learnt by reading books, tutorials and studying the source code of numerous websites.
Where do I host my websites? Its changed over the years, but since 2005, I've consolidated my ever increasing collection of websites under a single reseller account. I'm currently with Xilo, who offer a great level of service. By investing in this reseller account I've been able to offer reasonably priced hosting to my clients.
I started blogging in 2006, but unfortunately my life isn't action packed, and my general ramblings tend not to be that interesting, so my blog is rarely updated. Like many, I have a MySpace. Go on, you know you want to be my “friend”. You can also find me on lots of other websites too, I've listed a few on my blog.
